The brief

Develop a high-spec student HMO for investors from an ordinary three-bed house in Cathays.

The work

The house was taken completely back to brick. A rear extension and a dormer created the extra space for seven bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus a large open-plan living and dining area for the tenants to share.

The result

High-spec student living in the heart of Cathays: seven bedrooms, three bathrooms and a generous shared space, where there were once three bedrooms.
